we have been the top choice for green bin cleaning vancouver since being founded in 2024. we principally serve residents of the north shore – north and west vancouver – but have expanded to clean garbage cans in the lower mainland. we were founded in january of 2024 and donated $1204 to the north shore black bear society in our first year
we strongly believe that local business should give back to the community that makes it possible for them to operate – that’s why we have the highest standards of eco-friendly garbage can cleaning in vancouver and a strong focus on giving back to local causes that benefit our community.

Mac
Mac started Mr. Can Clean because of his passion for being a garbageman, and the positive effects he saw that it had on his hometown of North Vancouver.
There are little things every day that annoy us – garbage can be one of those little things that makes us happy: smiling at the garbage man, knowing their name, waving at them with your kids.
These are the things that made North Van the North Van that Mac grew up in and he seeks to continue that small-town tradition as North Van continues it’s incredible growth.
He is passionate about animals – especially his two dogs Iceberg and Carmela – his wife, his son, boxing, and writing.
Jayrald
Jayrald is a creative professional from the Philippines and a strong early supporter of Mr. Can Clean. He reached out to support Mac with administrative and graphic tasks but his work-ethic, professionalism and most of all – his friendly, happy, and positive outlook – Mr. Can Clean qualities – led us to offer him a position leading our B2B sales.
Carmela and Iceberg
Carmela met us as a small puppy when a resident on Mac’s garbage run talked him into adopting her – that’s what garbage does for a community! She is from Cortez Rescue.
Iceberg is a recent addition to the team and comes from Houston, Texas from Heart of the Underdog Rescue. You can read about our recent fundraising efforts for them here.
Both are terrible at their jobs but make up for it by being fantastic dogs and their passion for eco-friendly garbage can cleaning.
